Every second journalist in the country claims to have faced pressure while performing their job, and as many as 62.1% of journalists have witnessed situations where their colleagues were the victims of such pressure.

This is one of the main conclusions of the research “The Other Side of the Journalism Medal,” which reveals that the most frequent source of pressure on media employees comes from government representatives (39.6%), followed by the business community (11.3%). Opposition representatives and other media are sources of pressure for 7.5% of journalists.
