Partnership for the local community

Within the project “Partnership for the local community – strengthening the contribution of civil society to the development of local policies and practices in the field of ecology and sustainable development”, initial meetings were held where the project, its goals and activities were presented. 

The general goal of the project is to strengthen the capacity of local CSOs to be active, responsible and independent actors in environmental protection and advocacy for sustainable local development and thereby contribute to the improvement of Montenegro’s integration into the EU. 

Program director Marko Pejović, member of the Management Board Leka Dedivanović and executive director of NGO ALB Progress Ilir Gojčaj held initial meetings with the key stakeholders of the project, namely:

  • Lejla Đoković and Amra Pepić, independent advisers for international cooperation in the Office for International Cooperation and Diaspora; 
  • Ismet Đokaj, secretary of the Secretariat for Agriculture and Rural Development; 
  • Hasan Hadžiablahović, advisor for sustainable development and the field of ecology and environmental protection; 
  • Leonora Dedivanović, director of the Tuzi Tourist Organization; 
  • Marijana Ljuljđuraj, assistant director of the Primary School “Mahmut Lekić”
  • Prelja Đoljaj, director of the Primary School “Jedinstvo” from Skorać, meetings were held with the following representatives in Podgorica:
  • RTCG morning program; 
  • Broadcasts “Lice Podgorica” ​​of City Television; 
  • Broadcasts “Colors of the morning” of Vijesti television; 
  • Non-governmental organization “Green Home”
