For the European path clear political will is necessary, not platforms and agreements

Considering the inaugural speech of the President of Montenegro regarding his role as a cohesive factor, such a platform is to some extent expected, but the political timing is more than indicative for proposing this platform.

There is hardly any parliamentary party that could dispute the content of this platform, but the question of agreement and signing depends solely on their attitude towards its proposer and the current political moment. In this sense, several political entities have already criticized the platform due to its proposer and the actual purpose of this platform, so I doubt that everyone will support it. In any case, even if everyone agrees with this platform, it will not affect the European integration process. Simply put, without clear and unequivocal political will to implement reforms and meet the interim benchmarks, there is no progress on this path, and that will is certainly not secured by platforms and agreements.

Therefore, this platform aims least to actually kick-start the European integration process from a standstill, and mostly to highlight Milatović as the bearer of the process and further position himself as a leader of the new generation of politicians.
