The project “Youth Participation in Digital Democracy – from Digital Skills to Digital Rights of Youth with Fewer Opportunities in the Western Balkans (EYDR)” is entering its final phase. After months of activities, education, and experience exchange, young participants from Montenegro have been divided into two teams – research and communication – to jointly shape the project’s final outcomes.
The research team is currently working on a policy paper focused on the vulnerability of youth to misinformation, analyzing the challenges young people face in the digital space and exploring ways to empower them to recognize and combat misinformation.

In parallel, the communication team is developing a social media strategy to promote the digital rights of youth. The team is also preparing the production of three educational podcasts that will cover topics such as digital literacy, online safety, and the role of social media in youth activism and entrepreneurship.
All activities are progressing according to plan, without major implementation challenges, and with continuous support from mentors and project partners.

In the upcoming period, we expect the release of podcast episodes as well as the organization of the Youth Digital Rights Forum, which will bring together all project participants and focus on social media as a tool for entrepreneurship and social change.
Through this final segment of the project, EYDR continues to encourage active and informed youth participation in the digital society, strengthening their capacities to recognize, understand, and shape the digital space in which they live.
