The exhibition of Slovenian design “The Future of Living”, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Podgorica, the Association for Responsible and Sustainable Development (UZOR), and the Museums and Galleries of Podgorica, was officially opened yesterday, September 22, at the Modern Gallery in Podgorica.
On the occasion of the exhibition opening, the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Gregor Presker, emphasized that “The Future of Living” is a traveling exhibition and will be presented in at least 25 countries around the world.
The exhibition features a collection of 90 products carrying the “Made in Slovenia” mark of excellence, developed over the past two years with the involvement of representatives of minority communities. The products highlight the stories of small brands that reflect functionality, passion for life and nature, and innovative use of local materials known from the traditions of minority communities. They also showcase new manufacturing techniques that build on regional craftsmanship and advanced sustainable production methods.
Previously, the exhibition was presented at St. Paul’s Church in Kotor.
