UZOR organized the conference “Wellbeing as a travel trend” in cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Montenegro within the Erasmus+ project “DigNest” in the hotel “Maestral” in Budva. 

The conference dedicated to the potentials and possibilities of the development of health tourism for persons with disabilities in Montenegro had an international character, and eminent experts in the field of medicine and tourism from several countries actively participated in it. 

The goal of the conference was to bring together professionals from the field of tourism and medicine in a high-quality and expedient manner and to inspire, through examples of good practice and discussion, the attendees and the public to create products that would expand their own offer, create new arrangements and open new markets while connecting precisely of the medical and tourism sectors with a focus on persons with disabilities. 

Prestigious experts from the tourism and health industries, as well as scientists from the field of modern medicine, spoke in three panel discussions. After the panel, the importance of connecting health and tourism was discussed, and conclusions and recommendations were made with the aim of further developing health tourism for persons with disabilities in Montenegro.
