We invite all interested journalists and media workers to apply for participation in the two-day training on journalists’ safety “The First Line of Defense”, which aims to teach journalists how to recognize and assess risks while working.
Journalism often involves working in unpredictable, risky, and challenging circumstances. That is why it is important to know how to recognize and assess risks, how to remain composed and safe in the field, and how to develop strategies that can save lives and preserve professional integrity.
During the training you will:
– Master practical protection techniques and safety protocols,
– Learn how to assess risks and plan your work in advance,
– Work on creating safety plans and strategies for specific situations,
– Participate in realistic simulations of crisis scenarios, where you will have the opportunity to test your reactions and make decisions under simulated field conditions.
