Every second journalist in the country claims to have faced pressure while performing their job, and as many as 62.1% of journalists have witnessed situations where their colleagues were victims of such pressure.

This is one of the main findings of the research “The Other Side of the Journalism Medal,” which reveals that media employees most frequently experience pressure from government representatives (39.6%), followed by the business community (11.3%). Meanwhile, opposition representatives and other media outlets were sources of pressure for 7.5% of journalists.
