The training will be held on <strong>June 7 and 8 in Podgorica<\/strong> and will be led by <strong>Marc Gruber<\/strong>, a German media law expert and journalist safety specialist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gruber is a French media consultant and seasoned expert in media freedom, journalistic standards, and journalist safety. For over two decades, he has collaborated with international organizations such as the <strong>Council of Europe<\/strong>, <strong>European Federation of Journalists<\/strong>, and the <strong>OSCE<\/strong>, contributing to projects across Europe, North Africa, and Asia. His areas of expertise include reporting on threats to journalists, combating SLAPP lawsuits, promoting media literacy, and strengthening self-regulatory bodies and journalist associations. He has also served as an election observer for the EU and OSCE, worked as a journalist and communication manager in cross-border institutions, and co-directed the European Federation of Journalists, where he led projects, public campaigns, and advocacy efforts on behalf of journalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training is based on a professionally developed curriculum and will cover:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Contemporary challenges and good practices in journalist protection<br>\u2013 Threats and pressures faced by media workers<br>\u2013 International and national legal frameworks and protection tools (Council of Europe, EU, OSCE)<br>\u2013 Physical and psychological integrity of journalists<br>\u2013 Peer learning and knowledge exchange among media professionals from different backgrounds<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This training is intended for <strong>journalists, editors, and other media professionals<\/strong> who want to strengthen their knowledge, enhance their professional capacities, and contribute to a safer media environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Limited spots are available.
